The Cassandra plain hot water bottle is our best selling hot water bottle on the site. As simple as they come, the plain hot water bottle is made to the highest specifications and meets BS1970:2006.
Note that as the sides of this bottle are smooth the bottle can get very hot to touch and prolonged contact may cause minor burns. If you are looking for a bottle to use with children or the elderly, we’d recommend looking at the ribbed bottles below or purchasing a cover to complement the bottle.
The Cassandra ribbed hot water bottle helps you keep in control of the temperature of your bottle. Use the bottle smooth side up for maximum heat on really cold nights or use ribbed side up for a more tempered heat.
Again, this bottle probably isn’t suitable for children or vulnerable adults due to the risk of burns, the 2 sided ribbed bottle being a safe option in these situations.
The Cassandra fully ribbed hot water offers a moderated heat and reduces the risk of burns with the addition of a ribbed rubber surface on both sides of the bottle. This moderates the heat providing a more controlled and consistent heat than the smooth sided bottles above.
